We’ve just signed our 10th partnership in Torbanlea two weeks ago, and we couldn’t be happier! This milestone is the perfect moment to reflect on an incredible year of growth, travel, and connecting with cafés across regional Queensland.
It all started in Bowen, where we partnered with Bernie at Earthbar Café Rosebay in April. Nestled on the tropical north Queensland coast, Bowen’s sunny beaches and warm hospitality made it the perfect place to launch our regional journey. Shortly after, we expanded south to Bundaberg, teaming up with Waterstreet Kitchen, a recognized restaurant known for its high-quality cuisine and dedication to local produce. It was a natural fit — premium coffee for premium dining experiences.

By July, we had reached Proserpine to supply The Roaming Cup, bringing our coffee to the heart of the Whitsundays. The tropical climate, strong café culture, and welcoming community made it an exciting addition to our growing roster. In August, we returned to Bundaberg to supply the renovated Mater Hospital café, supporting staff, patients, and visitors with consistent, high-quality coffee.

October saw a particularly special moment when our beans began their journey on the water with the Lady Musgrave Experience, serving passengers as they explored the southern Great Barrier Reef. Alongside these coastal successes, we also partnered with Kape Centro in Childers in May, Emmas Place in Gin Gin in August, and Miara Caravan Park in September, bringing café-quality coffee to towns big and small across regional Queensland.

Meanwhile, in Mount Isa, the upcoming Kikbak Café is finalizing every detail to start serving coffee, breakfasts, lunches, and other delicious treats. And now, with our newest partnership in Torbanlea, we can’t wait to see Zane open his café and start welcoming the local community — we wish him all the best and can’t wait to celebrate the opening.

Over this past year, our team has grown alongside our business, expanding to three full-time staff who have shared every kilometre of our journey. We’ve clocked over 20,000 km across North Queensland, sharing caffeine, laughs, and hands-on training, while learning from the incredible café operators we’ve met along the way. This experience has been invaluable, shaping how we understand regional cafés and their communities.

None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of Wolff Coffee Roasters in Brisbane, whose dedication to consistently exceptional products allows us to supply the best coffee possible to every regional location.

We’re proud of what we’ve achieved in just one year and excited for the road ahead. If you’re in regional Queensland and thinking about opening a café or upgrading to a high-quality roaster, we’d love to talk — just give us a call or send an email.
And there’s even more to come — there are a few partnerships we can’t announce just yet, but they’re very close to signing with us. Exciting things are ahead!
Here’s to another year of growth, community, and café-quality coffee across regional Queensland!
